- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was visiting my daughter and family in Austin in late January 2014 when I needed an emergency root canal. I was referred to Dr. Thompson at Lonestar Endodontics. I was in excruciating pain and root canals are never fun, but I can honestly say this was the "best root canal experience" I have ever had! The offices are very modern and have the latest in equipment. Dr. Thompson was very gentle, calming and knowledgeable. Renate, his assistant, was great at explaining the procedure and was an absolute angel assisting him. The ladies at the desk were very helpful as well.
