  I have used State Farm, and the Karen Hall agency for over 15 years and I have never once had an issue with the agency or the agents. Karen Hall is a phenomenal agent, and even though I had to move to Arizona in recent years I kept every policy I could with them. I would have gladly kept everything with them, but the laws requires me to handle that differently with auto and contractor insurance. I've worked with Karen on my money management policies, and her manager, Ashley Casey, on my auto and life policies. Karen and Ashley both are professional, responsive and diligent in the work they do. Every question gets an answer that I can understand, and I trust that they have my best interests in mind. These ladies are one decision I've made in my business, and personal life that for once takes some of the stress off my back. My only regret is that I can't leave 10 stars for the work they do.

  Karen Hall and Ashley DeShay failed to mention policy rate increases on multiple occasions. Despite the only method of correspondence with the agency being via telephone and email, they stated that they mailed me some form alert. However, I never received any mail from them about the higher rates, only a surplus of junk mail asking me to add coverage on things I didn't need. I had never had a claim on any of my policies while I was insured with them. After finally discovering the larger amount being automatically drafted from my checking account after almost a year, I contacted the agency and requested a refund. My request was not well received, and I was told that they sent me an article of mail and that's all they were obligated to do. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas Board of Insurance. I got a rate from USAA that was over $100 cheaper per month, and had exponentially more coverage. Update: According to their agency, they sent me a document in which I had to opt-out of additional coverage which I never agreed to. Still waiting to hear back from the Texas Board of Insurance.
