  I am not sure how long I've been a patient of his, but as you have clearly read from many people on here, he is one of the best in Town. For years I searched for a doctor who would actually listen and not just smile while being sure they knew what I had wrong. I do a lot of extreme sports and as such have hurt myself enough to know what's normally wrong with me. That's not to say he only treats what I think is wrong. I went in once thinking I had appendicitis and instead he showed me that it was actually arthritis in my back pinching the nerve that controlled my right side abdomen. Also, he respects that I don't like pain killers and will not force me to take a prescription I don't need for healing purposes (like sleeping better or anti inflammatory ) . Finally he treats me to cure me. He sends me to Physical Therapy to get an item fixed instead of just giving me drugs to mask it. For all of those reasons I couldn't recommend a Dr. office more. Also, his nurse practitioner is better than any doctor i've ever visited, with the possible exception of Dr. John himself. So, if they are the only one available, know you will still get the best treatment in town
