- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This establishment discriminated against my premature 4lb daughter due to vaccines being against our religion. They forced me to sign an opt-out under duress and continue to harass us at every well child visit to vaccinate even though I already signed their opt-out and they know it's against our religion (as well as life-threatening to a preemie with a heart condition). At our last visit (we never get an actual pediatrician, we don't know who the Elusive Dr. Glennwood even is as he or she never meets any of their patients) the nurse, not even a nurse practitioner (!) could be heard outside our door several times talking about my daughter and I to the Medical Assistant, saying "Ask again. Make sure she her sign these" and so the second time he came in to repeat himself I told him to tell her we weren't signing anything, that we were already forced to sign an opt-out under duress. She came in with this smirk on her face and was patronizing as I patiently explained myself yet again. I became upset and told her if she had a problem with our decision from 17 months earlier, that she could tell the actual doctor, whom we never get to see, that he or she could dismiss us from her practice with a letter stating she refuses to see us due to not vaccinating because it's against our religion. She laughed in my face and said she'd definitely be doing so. I've spoken at length with the "office manager" there, who is also very condescending and rude and doesn't call people back when she says she will, or care about the fact that my daughter was premature at 4 lbs with a heart condition, or that vaccines are against our religion (not ALL of the staff there is horrible. A few of the nurses and NP's are actually pleasant). Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere.March 05, 2017by Aspyn's Mommy
