- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Azim Shekarchi has been my primary doctor at the Austin Regional Clinic on S. 1st since 1998. It is now summer of 2017, and I've never been dissatisfied with the care he has given me--or his nurse Fran! I chose him because he is internal medicine. For the past 15 months, I've lived an hour and a half north of his clinic, and yet I continue to see him for the major aspects of my care. (I do not want to deal with the billing department dysfunction of the Baylor-Scott & White health care system that has monopolized my Central Texas area where I now live.)
